Biography

I really enjoy being a Buyer’s Agent helping clients find places that they’ll truly enjoy calling “home” and make lasting memories in for many years. Nearly all my business is referral-based and my clients trust that I’ll offer straight-forward advice.

For buyers, I’ll highlight the amenities the homes and neighborhoods have to offer and point out anything else that may impact your resale value. Once we find the perfect home, we’ll discuss comparable sales together to make sure you’re getting a good value.

For sellers, I leverage the power of the internet to place your home in front of as many buyers as possible. In my opinion, we at Hegg Realtors offer home sellers the best print advertising of any local firm.

I’ve been helping Sioux Falls home sellers and buyers since 1995 and have sold over 60 million dollars worth of real estate in that time. I have a Business Management degree from the University of South Dakota.

On a personal note, I’ve been married to Kristi (a 5th grade school teacher in Sioux Falls) since 1994 and we’ve been blessed with three boys that are very involved in school, a variety of extracurricular activities and sports. Our family attends church weekly and we enjoy spending time at the kid’s games, camping in the summer and traveling regionally.

A REALTOR is a member of the NATIONAL ASSOCIATION of REALTORS and subscribes to its strict Code of Ethics.

Code of Ethics

The Code establishes time-honored and baseline principles that come from the collective experiences of REALTORS® since the Code of Ethics was first established in 1913. Those principles can be loosely defined as:

Loyalty to clients;

Fiduciary (legal) duty to clients;

Cooperation with competitors;

Truthfulness in statements and advertising; and non-interference in exclusive relationships that other REALTORS® have with their clients.

To earn a designation, a real estate agent has taken coursework and demonstrated specific skills, performance and knowledge in a particular area of the real estate industry
